How We Rate Brokers

Every broker on OpesAdvisors is scored across 10 dimensions with weights set to reflect what actually matters to retail traders. Scores are not aggregated from third-party reviews; they are produced by our traders running funded live accounts.

  • 10 scoring criteria
  • 3 named traders
  • 100+ live orders per broker
  • 22+ brokers tested

Testing Process

  1. Our trader opens a funded account with real capital on the platform being reviewed.
  2. The trader places between 100 and 400 live orders across multiple trading sessions, varying order types (market, limit, stop) and instruments.
  3. Spread and slippage data are recorded at 5-minute intervals during high-liquidity windows.
  4. Full deposit-and-withdrawal cycles are executed across all available methods.
  5. Customer support is contacted 5+ times across different channels and languages.
  6. Regulator licences are verified against public registers in the country of issue.
  7. Scores are assigned per criterion, weighted, and the overall score is calculated to one decimal place.

The difference between a broker's advertised spread and what you actually get at 9:30am London matters. I measure it.

I've wired money into exchanges in a dozen countries and watched what happens next: the delays, the hidden fees, the KYC walls. My job is to find out before you do.

Prop Trader & Reviewer

I'm not here to review prop firms as an outsider. I run funded accounts right now, across multiple firms. When I write about payout delays or rule changes, it's because I've lived through them with real capital on the line.
