Regulation in Spain

Spain requires CNMV (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores) authorisation or MiFID II passporting from another EEA regulator. The CNMV publishes a public register of authorised firms and a warning list of unauthorised entities (chiringuitos financieros). ESMA retail leverage caps apply: 1:30 majors, 1:20 minors and gold, 1:2 crypto CFDs, with mandatory negative-balance protection.
