Brazil is the largest retail trading audience in Latin America and a high-value CPA market. No broker holds a Brazilian retail forex licence, because the CVM does not issue one and has acted against offshore solicitation, so every broker a Brazilian trader can use is offshore. Local funding runs overwhelmingly through Pix instant transfer and boleto. Regulation in Brazil

Brazil regulates its securities and derivatives markets through the CVM (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários), with the Banco Central do Brasil (BCB) overseeing foreign exchange. The CVM does not license retail OTC forex or CFD brokers, and it has issued stop orders against offshore brokers soliciting Brazilians. Brazilian traders therefore use offshore-regulated brokers in a grey zone, with no local compensation scheme; recourse runs through the broker foreign regulator.
